It’s barely even noon on day one and people are talking about the dozens of engrams they’ve farmed already. With this method, ton of coins and a bit of luck could probably net you 90% of all drop-able exotics by the end of the weekend. This? It’s something that has the potential to ruin the exotic hunt for the duration of the expansion. That was an amusing, dull way of farming, but doing it you were never going to get some of the best gear in the game. Doing it solo, you can still net yourself a dozen exotics or so in just a few hours using these farming tricks. I’m hearing stories of groups doing this getting 30 or so exotic engrams over very, very short periods of time. There are a few places to do this, all of which are ridiculously efficient. Tactics include reloading checkpoints over and over that are seconds away from boss spawns, and then blowing yourself up with a rocket to reset the instance. Right now, if you have enough Strange Coins to buy Three of Coins stacks, you can farm the easiest bosses in the story missions on repeat.
